Postdoctoral research associate positions in nanomanufacturing and instrumentation
The Lee Research Group, Manufacturing and Instrumentation Laboratory (MNIL), in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, Republic of Korea, seeks highly motivated postdoctoral researchers in the area of micro-/nanoscale sensors and actuators for biomedical and environmental applications.
The successful applicants must have completed a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, or related disciplines. Research experience in nanotechnology, nano materials, nano sensors, biosensors, biophysics, and/or optics is highly desired.
Specific research topics of interest include but not limited to
- Nanoscale 4D printing
- Liquid metal patterning for next-generation wearable devices
- Hydrogel micro-/nanoelectromechanical systems
- Multifunctional atomic force microscopy
- Thermal properties measurement of soft biological matters
Researchers who have previously published papers in Journal of Microelectromechanical Systems (JMEMS) would be highly recommended to apply this position.
